This is a little off topic, but maybe not. Do you ever have a verse or saying that keeps coming around from different places and sources to the point that you know God is trying to tell you something?
Well, lately it’s Proverbs 4:23 for me: “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life.”
I recently read a story about a family that kept getting sicker and sicker, but no one could really figure out why until after a long drawn-out process, it was discovered that there was a bacteria growing in their well.
It had to have been divine guidance how they discovered it was the water that was making them sick, for it didn’t discolor the water, give it any sort of taste or smell or any other clues that the water was bad. Nothing.
So, if the water is murky or smelly, we know we shouldn’t use the water. But what if you can’t tell if the water is contaminated? Sometimes we know what’s inside of us needs purification, but we put it off, or look the other way or even deny there’s a problem. Our bodies are mostly water, and is vital to good health. Bad water, bad health.
What’s in YOUR well??
