Looking For a Place To Connect Online?

I know, who has time? Between all there is to do in a day, you can’t fathom fitting one more thing into your day. Have you ever thought that you have so much to offer other moms? Or that maybe you could use an encouraging word at times?

Well, you are never too busy to TAKE (that means steal some time from something else) a little time to connect with other moms that are just like you. Unlike face to face situations, there are 2 main advantages to connecting online:

1-You can grab whatever time you might be able to squeeze out. It may be super early in the morning, late at night, or while the kids are napping. Also unlike face to face contact, you can end the time at will. Has it’s advantages….

2-There are so many groups online it’s a virtual friend smorgasboard. That may sound tacky, but there are so many different kinds of moms, that it would be impossible not to find a few that are very similar to you. Of course, similar isn’t always necessary, but face it, if you are a mom of 3 little children, it’s hard to relate with a mom whose children are grown, or a working mom if you aren’t.

One of the reasons that I’ve avoided many of the social networks is the time it takes to create my “page” and to learn my way around the site. I get lost on those really easily. Twittermoms is like Twitter. Easy to learn, easier to navigate. There’s not a ton of choices, except the number of groups available. Once you are in Twittermoms, you find a group that suits you, like Homeschooling Moms, or WAHMs, or Blogging Moms, or Natural moms, or…you get the picture.
