New to couponing?
Never fear – super-couponers are here!
Well, not really, but I couldn’t resist. We would like to invite all the moms who have learned the ropes of couponing to share what they know to help other moms. Rachael, my daughter is one of those coupon pros (although she would deny it) and will hopefully share some of her tricks of the trade.
Tricks of the Trade?
Yep-couponing can save you money, but you don’t have to be an extreme couponer to save a significant amount on your household budget. However, you will save both time AND money with a handful of tips from those that have learned the hard way.
Extreme couponers find they can almost provide a second income for their family. That income may not be money that comes in the form of a check, but in the form of money saved. The saying, ” A penny saved is a penny earned” translates into dollars in today’s economy, so think about it like this: If you save $500 of your $600/month budget for food and household expenses then you have $500 more in your checking account than you did at the beginning of the month. The best part? You will find yourself able to buy name brand items and things you thought you could never afford for pennies on the dollar. Face it-generic is not always so . . .well, you understand. A little plus in the ‘enjoy life‘ category!
