If you’re thinking about working a part-time job this year to afford Christmas presents, or just need some extra work (!?!) the internet offers more opportunities than ever for making a little extra. The main advantage of working online is the flexible schedule. Considering many retail stores don’t hire PT help anymore, if they do you may be required to work ON the holiday-which is not an option when you have kids. I like the luxury of working whatever time I can squeeze out of the day, be it 4 am or 11 pm, and many moms use the infamous naptime! Online freelance work really is a good fit for the SAHM.

I still can’t believe the great list of authentic work at home jobs they list with NO strings attached (free). The majority of jobs offered have to do with either writing or web design, but includes other, sometimes interesting, types of work. In fact, it’s where I stumbled on this great website where you can register your skills into a master database for writers called Writer’s Access. It’s free to list your writing services, and if you know SEO, it’s a HUGE plus. If you happen to need a writer, it’s also free to post a job.
